~it's done~

{

remember paint-by-numbers?
my daughter was packing up her closet and came across
an unfinished paint-by-numbers that she had started last Summer
......she decided it needed to get done
yahoo
I think it's lovely

{this is her working on it last Summer}

I am always finding unfinished projects around my home......more so now that we are packing up to move
I love to start things....but I am not so good at getting them completed
I promise myself I will try harder

xoxo
weekend hugs

KORALEE! YIPPEEEEEE! YOu came....I thought of you as I was composing my post. YOU ARE MY COLOR POSTER GIRL! I am still a lover of white and gray with simple splashes of turquoise around the house, but YIKES, these fun sherbert-tasting colors are getting me excited to discover new adventures. Going shopping for a new bathing suit? You are brave! But then again, you are probably better off to wear one than I am! You know what I would wear for a walk along the beach, since I am not a swimmer or a sun bunny.....A TULLE TUTU with a cute ruffled bikini top! I have a small and muscular upper body but let's not discuss down south....teeeheeee..so go and try on all the suits and come away with a cute turquoise number if you can!

OH ARE YA LOVIN' SUMMER? Today we are having a fabulous sunny day but last night was a wicked storm that tore off limbs of trees...HAVE A MAGNIFICENT WEEKEND MY FRIEND! Anita

That is the prettiest paint by numbers I have seen. I did horses paint by numbers when I was a preteen. Where are you moving to?
Oh and "ending a sentence with a preposition is something up with which I will not put." This sentence always makes me smile.

I love how you captured sweet one painting, Koralee. We had to do paint-by-numbers in 7th & 8th grades for gifts for our parents.

May her flag fly high & proud forever over this great land ... may God see the changes we need & grant us that blessing.

Hope your moving goes well.

Happy 4th, sweetie.

Love the Paint by Number picture. I hope she hangs it somewhere. I have so many unfinished projects, some only started in my head. I am trying to be more diligent in finishing. You are moving? Are you moving far?

Hi Koralee!
The paint by numbers is such a great way for people to learn what it takes to pull all the colors together to make images come to life!
You are packing up to move?!!!
You must have found your new home!
How exciting! It's a great time {even though it's so much work} to count all your blessings as you pack them!
Wishing you a joyfilled weekend*

Isn't it lovely to watch your children so engrossed in their work....and your daughter has done such a beautiful job there!....It's a lovely feeling when you finally get a project finished...it can be hard to do when you have found something new, fresh and inspiring....I am trying to be stricter with myself!
Hope you have a lovely Sunday Koralee,
Susan x

It feels so good to step back and look at the finished project, doesn't it? What a beautiful picture of your sweet girl, Koralee! Her painting is delightful! Do you plan on being in your new home before the next school year begins? Be careful not to overdo it! You don't want your back to tell you when it's time to rest! Wishing you a happy summer Sunday!
Blessings!

That is lovely! Painting by numbers is so therapeutic :0) I might pop out and get myself one. A belated happy Canada Day to you my dear friend. We were in London at Trafalgar sq, where there was a big concert. The place was packed with Canadians, it was so lovely just listening to the accents- it made us miss our 'second home'. Xxx
