~taking a break from busy~

wall chalkboard yesterday
{I even bought some coloured chalk........pink and aqua}

The Best Thing to Give
......to your enemy is forgiveness;
........to an opponent, tolerance;
........to a friend, your heart;
........to your child, a good example;
........to a father, good-will and love;
.......to your mother, conduct that will make her proud of you;
.......to yourself, respect;
.....to all men, charity.

Great quote, Koralee. I know you have been working very hard setting up your new home. It feels good to start fresh though, doesn't it? I'm sure it is looking fantastic! Take good care of yourself. You don't want your back acting up! Put your feet up and enjoy the day! Wishing you sunshine and smiles!
Blessings!

I'm glad to see you take a nice break from all the unpacking and decorating. My feet are up now, but we have a volunteer picnic to attend this afternoon, so my feet will be busy today. :-)

Oh yes, my feet are up right now. Maybe they shouldn't be for I still have so much to do... But they are. :)

You know, my brother is going up to Vancouver to present at a conference. I'm not sure if you're very near, but I sure don't know anything about that area of Canada. Do you know of any nice places for him and his wife to visit? I'm sure it has so many!

Sooo true Koralee :) All of it! Some spoke to my heart where I am right now in life louder than the others.

Glad your feet are up! Mine are too right now :)

YOU TOO HAVE BOXWOODS? I have tons of the Green Velvet which do so well in these horrible cold temps! In the summer, they are so beautiful!!!! OH DEAREST, thank you for helping me get started on my PINNING! But I am having a very difficult time understanding how to delete a pin and just now tried to pin another picture but it wouldn't take! Time to take a break here!!!

I did put my feet up for a while today, complete with a little sweet and a cup of tea. Sadly, they have to go back down soon and head out of town for dinner with friends. That will be fun too.

Hey Koralee!
I'm just getting back on my computer after lots of days helping my dad. Doreen and I came here on Friday for a nice sister weekend and visit with our father. I'm still here because he suddenly needed a new fridge. We noticed his fridge was not under 50 degrees and the freezer was not below freezing!
The new refrigerator will be here tomorrow...
I think I will need one of those cupcakes and a sweet cuppa tea or fun coffee!

I'm so glad you're finding time for rest. Take a nice sweet break every day!

*wishing you lots of JOY*
~Maria

ps. I love the idea of a chalkboard for messages. The blogger at "Miss Mustard Seed" has a beautifully framed one with daily/weekly messages that she shares with us now and then... Making one of these is on my summer to do list :o)
