~a little collection~

i created a
pretty gathering
wee little snip-its taken from my garden pots
 plunked into my
hanging candle holder

A person's mind is like a garden:
 it can be intelligently
cultivated or allowed to run wild.
Whether cultivated or neglected, it is visible for all to see.........
It is important to weed out all the inappropriate, useless
and tainted thoughts.
Take time to cultivate honest, useful and reasonable thoughts.
Plant with the seeds of knowledge for new growth.
You can be the master gardener of your soul,
the director of your life.
It is your thoughts and mind, which shape your character,
circumstances and destiny.
~James Allen~

sending you all some
 extra love today.....
just because

You sure do have the touch for making something to simple look so sweet, fresh and cool. Love all the above.

I couldn't be more thrilled that the needles and yarn are taking and she is sticking with it. Let her know that an extra stitch or hole or two, is pretty much the norm when starting. I"m guessing pretty quick she will be right on track. Can't wait to see the outcome.

Love the quote. So true, we are what we think and we need to weed out the bad and make room for the good.
“For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he:” Proverbs 23:7

Good morning Koralee!
Your hanging candle holder ~ what a sweet idea for flowers.
Rachael left me some sweet little vases that were used at a wedding shower she planned in June... I've been using them all summer for my mini bouquets of JOY!
I love your words today ~ they remind me of the scripture: Where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

Such a lovely way to start the day ~ beautiful thoughts*
Happy day dear ♥

What a beautiful collection, so happy and so fresh. I like the idea of the mind being a garden, I think I have too many weeds at the moment, but I am working on clearing those out.
Have a wonderful day sweet friend.

Good morning dearest heart! Oh how many times I have thought of this beautiful analogy of the garden akin to our hearts and minds. The weeds grow in so fast and we need to pull them out as soon as see them pop up. But that which is beautiful needs so much cultivation and care!

YOUR BLACK FOREST CAKE SOUNDS AMAZING! Was it delicious, what is outstanding????? I bet your celebration was a blast...HOW IS THE NEW HOUSE COMING ALONG? And how is your back taking all the work? Oh dearest, I see the calender; it says August 10! I HAVE 15 days left to sleep, write, read and PLAY! THEN it is back...when do YOU go back?

Enjoy it all precious.....thank you for visiting, Anita
