Oh how I am LOVING THIS DAY OFF and I am jingling my way over to YOUR HOUSE! (I so wish)!
You have a way of capturing the IDEA of something...you take an object or even a color that I have never given much notice to, and then you POP your magic onto it dearest and suddenly, I CAN SEE....THIS PHOTO IS ABSOLUTELY STUNNING!
I had a great turkey dinner last night and what a sweet time....thinking of you today dearest, Anita

Yes! I'm totally in the Christmas mood :) Christmas tunes are on and there is even a little snow on the ground. Hope you are having a lovely weekend! Thanks for popping by yesterday...I posted the clip on the Ottawa Morning Live on my blog today. It was a great experience! xo
guess it IS that time isn't it. I remember when living in UTAH it was tradition, that the day after thanksgiving I set up the tree and all the decorations. and it was so fun to have then grandkids come over and fondle the ornaments, and oooooh, and awww. NOW........no grandkids here to love on my decorations. It just don't hold the same enthusiasm for me anymore. BUT....on the upside, I do get t spend Christmas with them this year....2 more weeks!! and I am just all bubbly inside
You are sooooooo far ahead of me, my sweet friend. Still sleeping off all the fun and turkey from yesterday. But, tomorrow, that's another story. Let the decorating begin. Great fun picture today to get me in the mood.
Hi Korallee! Thanksgiving was so wonderful! Doreen and her husband went all out with their "Iron Chef" cooking! We were all together {except Jason and one of my nieces}. I thought of you yesterday... getting through your holidays without Molly when she was in England... I missed him so much yesterday... but I can't imagine Christmas! Jason will be home for Christmas... I am so grateful!
Your posts of the last few days are so pretty. I love what you're doing with your blog, Koralee. Your photography is just popping! The teacup candles are a great idea! {another great reason to shop for vintage :o) and... the Christmas-y feeling in this post is inspiring me to get those tablecloths out asap!
I hope you're having a sweet weekend dear ♥ God bless you always, Thank you for bringing loveliness and joy to us ~ Maria
Hey there Koralee girl, You always make me S M I L E when I see you have PoPpeD by. Yes, the store is a bit nutty these days...that BIG white clawfoot table sold today, for pick up on Monday...so I am scrabbling a bit...alright, I'm running around like a CrAzY woman...trying to slip in a replacement in by Tuesday. Oh to have a "cookie bake~a~ramma"...maybe we should do a Valentines Cookie Exchange...You know, send a bit of L O V E home with our girlfriends? When do you start Christmas break? Let me know if you want to go to "Traceycakes" for tea...or pop into my kitchen for a cookie or two. Sending you a hug...R
Oh dearest, I am baking now too! I am making pumpkin chocolate chip bars.........YOWSA! ENJOY THIS FABULOUSLY GRAY but happy day. I am strange. I get energized by these wet gray days...maybe it reminds me of my childhood when it rained and we would stay in to draw and paint, sew and bake....yes, good memories of my sweet momma's talents. She taught me to bake when I was old enough to stand level at the counter, standing on a stool!
Yes, I'm on the sleigh ride today too! We bought a wreath made from bells and they jingled in the back of the car all the way home! Love your beautiful festive photo today. Have a happy weekend, Koralee. Helen x
First step, I must find our candles for the windows. Every year my husband and I go through the same thing...we wonder where we decided to store them so we'd know exactly where they were so we could put them up right after Thanksgiving! I know there around here somewhere! :) Happy, happy holiday season, sweet friend! Blessings!
