{self confident gifts}

my Christmas motto this year.......
every gift deserves to be adorably dressed
I want my gifts to be proud of who they are.......
to feel jolly good about themselves
so I am piling on the pom-poms
making them as cute as can be

can you ever add too many of these
roly poly woolly bits?
I think not
xox
Just for today.......
anticipate joy

Dear Koralee,

What wonderfully fun pom-poms!! And beautiful Anita is here...you know, my sweet daughter (a former student of Anita's), asked for pom-pom makers for Christmas! I think I'll show her your post, she will love this:))
Gorgeous as always, sweet friend..

To Cute, I will have to learn how to make those again. I had two large pom poms on my rollers skates when I was a young girl.

What fun to receive a gift with your pom poms on it. Adorable.

Hi Koralee! What pretties!
Those pom pom bows are so adorable! I'm sure there will be instant smiles!
Your red bowls in the last post look familiar! I have two of them on my counter and they are my everyday mixing bowls for small batches. Oh tonight, I had a very silly baking experience. I FORGOT the BUTTER! How can that happen? So silly of me!
My "fat free" date bars went in the freezer and will be eaten at an undetermined moment of desperation :D

Are you done until after the New Year? Oh for me... one more full week!
Next Friday, the 23rd, Jason comes home! we're so excited!

Have a fabulous Friday!
xoxo ♥ Maria

I think these would make the perfect finishing touch for the packages that go under the tree. Nordic, warm and wooly, but pretty and playful too.

I have no doubt that everything you do is given that extra special touch.

I've been to Dagmar's blog. Very inspiring indeed. In fact, she had a friend who lived in Kuwait for 10 years and has family in Sri Lanka. Such a small world at times.

Best wishes to you and yours for a happy holiday. Tammy

Oh Koraleee! YOU HAVE REALLY BEEN BUSY WITH SO MANY PARTIES!!!!!! And a GREEK LUNCH? WOOOOOO!!!!

Well I am going to the doctor today. I am feeling better but I must rule out pneumonia. This has lingered on too long and in my energetic efforts to keep up, I think I am spent at this point! The kids' energy is a bit much for me at the moment, and NEXT WEEK will be a wrap up for WEDNESDAY'S little party. We traditionally have a SLEDDING party over at the neighboring middle school hill. BUT WE HAVE NO SNOW!!!!!!!!! So the party will be a crafting/music/dance party indoors. THEN WE ARE OFF! Oh dearest, enjoy every countdown second!!!!! LOVE TO YOU! Anita

L♥Ve the idea of using pom-poms for dressing up a package! I do love a puffy pom.. reminds me of my rollerskating days .. eons ago when I was in jr high .. my skates had big puffy pink/white poms!!! So stylish - in the 80s might I say!!!

Hi Koralee

Love all your sweet and thoughtful comments, now I have loved pom poms since I was a little girl, I have a obsession with tiny bobble trim I could put it on everything!
There is something theraputic about making pompoms, I need a few balls of wool!

All my best
