{being still}

it is snowing
my world is going to be
very cozy today

I do adore these kind of days
a day where one is forced to
 be still
what are you doing today?

I am still slowly sipping my second cuppa. It's freezing cold here in the northeast... so we will be inside.
Today, Chris and I will put away some Christmas things. I will also send out a few notecards and thank you's - a perfect day for being a home- body!
Enjoy your sweet day of "stillness," Koralee... A quiet day is a treasure!

That is one yummy photo. Snow predicted tonight perhaps - we don't get it often so it is always a big deal. Hoping for a snowy walk when I wake up tomorrow a.m.

Hey sweet Koralee! Snow. Oh I love the snow! Making snow angels. Drinking hot chocolate afterwards. Feeling super cozy inside, and watching snow fall. You are so lucky!! Hope you enjoy your day of coziness...I will be thinking of you! I am cleaning today. It's 70 degrees, so I might even get a little gardening done.

You take care - have a wonderful weekend! xo

I will be attending a girl afternoon, making our annual collage. No snow here yet, but it is expected in the next day or two. I recently had a friend say she loved winter for a time to be quiet. I think tomorrow would be a good "be still" day. Look at magazines, read, sit by the fire, and maybe cut paper for something fun.

I am staying inside making jewelry and drinking coffee. Staying cozy!

I don't know whether I can ever cope with snow. 14 degrees is bad enough for me in Melbourne. I half freeze to death on those days! but you do make it sound very cozy which is a gift.

We have not had any new snow in awhile...perhaps this weekend.
What am I doing today....well, getting ready for good friends to come over for dinner, and FOOTBALL (tee, hee)

Seeing that cookie brings back memories - I used to love those when I was a kid but haven't had one in years. Today I've been stitching on denim trying to get a jacket done for the end of next week.

I cleaned the washroom and sewed an apron. I'm trying to fix a better spot for my bobbin thread and regular spool thread by using our old kitchen cabinet doors and brand new nails. Fixing to make a salad and think about what's for lunch tomorrow!
No snow here! Sunny and beautiful.

It doesn't snow here where I live in California, but I do appreciate a cozy day prompted by heavy rain. A cozy day demands tea and a good book at my house.

I will put a log in the fireplace...gather my cozy blanket and a book {or my laptop (because I am hopelessly addicted to pinterest!!!)} and relax in front of my Christmas tree. (Yes, it's still up! It has held on to its needles and "cozies up" the living room so much my husband and I hate to take it down!) The only thing missing is one of those pretty cookies of yours! Warm wishes to you and yours, my friend!
Blessings!

I have spent the day dropping one child here and another there. A day as a taxi - I should start charging! Maybe a little snow here in the UK would slow life down a little?! Hugs, B x

Oh, so sweet! I love those warm and cozy colors. I am in South Dakota but will go home tomorrow for a week. Then we are off to look at another treatment for Jud. This is our last shot...but maybe the scientists will come up with something new and different. if I haven't said it recently, thank you so much for your support of me right now. Your kindness means the world!

We STILL do not have snow here in NJ since our bizarre snowstorm on Halloween. By this time of the year we should have major accumulations...it IS FREEZING cold, though, so it's wonderful here by a roaring fire. What is that incredible dessert on your header, by the way??? Did you make that?? PLEASE share the recipe if you have! :)
Have a wonderful week~
