{on the road to Spring.......}

as much as I dislike saying goodbye to all the
 sweet pink and red hearts
I am excited to be on a new road.....
the road to Spring
our weather has been very springlike
 our heather is in blossom
and my neighbour's flowering bush has
popped it's blooms
I am thinking sweet spring colours
happy ginghams
little bunnies and chicks
darling spring dresses

Is it too early to be on this path?
{the birds outside my window don't think so}

 No winter last forever; no spring skips it's turn.

Hello sweet Koralee! Heather. Love it. One of my favorite scents. I too am saying goodbye to little pink hearts and candies...I love your idea of Gingham and sweet Spring dresses! Bunnies and baskets. I am looking forward to Easter and all the lovely pale colors. And roses! I've noticed the vendors around here have pots bursting with big beautiful blooms. Happy day :) xo

... we have daffodil stems appearing ♦ birds are singing ♦ we stashed bearded iris bulbs around our new home ♦ and I have seeds started in my window ready for my hanging baskets... all is glorious!!

love the thought of being 'on the road to spring'. the sun is shining off of the snow rather brightly today, makes a big change from grey and gloomy yesterday.

have a wonderful day, miss koralee.

I agree with you. I have a Valentine birthday, but once it's over, I'm pretty excited to prepare for spring. And this year, in our part of the country (WI), we've had a very mild winter with little snow and nasty cold... a rarity. So that makes me even more anxious for spring! Sometimes our neck of the woods kind of skips spring altogether, with an extra long winter and suddenly it's early June and warm out! Trudy

I'm always ready for spring once Valentine's Day is over! I can't wait for the warm, fresh air. Unfortunately, around here it probably won't be consistently warm for awhile! I'll just have to enjoy the beginning of warm weather through the pretty pictures in blog world!

I AM FINALLY HOME and away from the attack of the SUGAR KIDS!!!!!!! First of all, yesterday was indeed a sugar-filled day. TODAY HOWEVER, I saw the effects on my students! I was trying to teach in French on Matter and Energy and I had to quickly give them a kinesthetic activity to do. So I said in French, "Show me what hot water molecules do.." (they dance around violently). Then I said, " Show me what cold water or ICE molecules do." ( They slowly move). Then to get in line, I asked them to line up and walk to lunch as cold water molecules. It worked!!!

NOW FOR THIS POST. OH DEAREST, that picture is fabulous. I am ready. WE have only had two dustings all winter and it melts! This year, Minnesota is not acting like its usual self! But I am ready for the flowers dearest, the fun, the outdoors and the colors that you inspire with your beautiful photos.

I am off now to cook some dinner! LOVE TO YOU DEAREST FRIEND! Anita

I am trying not to feel a bit of envy . . . we don't have buds bursting and robins tweeting where I live. But, I am thrilled for you wherever your warmth is located!!!

I love the presentation of your blog, "Bluebird". It feels warm, happy and filled with goodness.

Oh Koralee I don't think it is to early! I heard the birds singing this morning as the sun shone. I almost thought it was a beautiful spring day until I looked out and saw the snow still on the ground. Soon it will be spring! Traci

Taking down Valentines tonight and on to the next season. I worked in the yard last weekend and it was so pleasing to see bulbs peeking up thru the dirt. Still chilly, but it is coming!

Gingham always makes me smile. We've had a "spring" like winter for the most part. My hubby was in shorts and a t-shirt yesterday on his day off, but today we had snow! I'm longing for spring myself now :)

No spring skips it's turn... UNLESS you live in Alberta. Seems like we don't get "spring" until June. I have not seen a wild crocus since I moved here. Perhaps I've looked in the wrong places.
I miss the flowering bushes and trees and tulips, daffodils etc I had when I lived in Utah.
Since our yard is NOT landscaped yet, spring to me is about MUD MUD MUD...
I love the cupcake holders !! I love the pastels of spring.

Our winter seems to have almost skipped its turn this year! I can't believe we are talking spring when I keep waiting for the horrible winter weather that I dislike so much. We have had our few really cold days and a few brushes of snow-but really...nothing normal at all and I'm not complaining. Bring on the bunnies and the tulips!

My backyard was crazy with birds today! Never before in February! The kids even got to go to the park! That is a sure sign of spring! CUTE liners!!! Even cute without a big ole' cupcake :)

Hi Koralee!
You have flowers coming up?
Fabulous!
This winter we were spoiled not having too much snow... in fact, hardly any at all {shhhh, I hope Mother Nature doesn't hear me}

I would love for spring to begin sooner than later!

I have next week {President's week} Not all schools here do though. Amanda has only Monday off, but I will visit her for the weekend.

Are you planning any wonderful baking this weekend?

Wishing you a Happy Happy Friday!
yipee!
love it!

I don't know about you dearest, but I am tired. I am finding that I cannot keep up with the changes in the school system and I guess I am not alone. But OH HOW I CRAVE SUMMER VACATION!!!

OK, I can make it...I can DO IT TODAY!
