{sprinkle tinting}

*
deer heart

my heart did skip a beat or two
 when I found out I could
tint my own sprinkles
{yes.....tint my own sprinkles.....happy dance x100}

all you need are white cake sprinkles
{called Jimmies}
and powder food colours

put your white Jimmies in a glass jar
{I like using a glass jar so you can see the magic}
add some powder food colour
and shake
 more colour = an intenser shade

I am sooooo addicted
{kinda like my pom pom addiction you can revisit here and here}
my dear heart is very happy
about this marvelous discovery
{heard about it here first}

{xox}

thank you for your San Francisco help in my last post
all your lovely spots are written down in my notebook
 I hope to visit many

happy sprinkle colouring

I've been wanting to buy some new food coloring (for macarons) but now that I know I can dye my own sprinkles, I'm not going to wait any longer!

Lately, I've been dying a lot of fabrics/ribbons with RIT and I'm obsessed! It's funny how little things like that can totally rejuvenate a person's creativity!

Hope your week is going well.
