I'll take them anyway! Just as long as they are cheap :) I hate paying 5 dollars for a tiny box of raspberries....I do sometimes....but I enjoy them MUCh more when they are summer priced!

I can eat strawberries all the way:) plain, with cream or powdered sugar...
Especially if it looks like above, I can not stand.
Freshly picked and warm off the vine is how I love my berries! Now I'm hungry:)

Wow what fabulous treats I feel quite hungry. Just popped by to say hello and thank you for your comment. I will be back.
Perfect strawberry shortcake photos...they look so yummy! I'm so glad you had a lovely mother's day.
Der Koralee, don't worry about the slow arival of the magazine, it can't be helped and is just one of those things! I don't think it matters if you put UK or England. I loved your idea of the postman and his wife baking all the goodies in it!!! Really made me smile:) I am also imagining the magazine coming across the ocean on a slow cruise ship, rather elegantly....
Have a lovely week.
Helen x
I like them freshly picked from the berry patch!
sweet pictures....
Kara
... definitely chocolate covered! yummy for my tummy! strawberries, grapes, raspberries, bananas ... not sure about blueberries, but i would be willing to try that too! xoxo
Oh my goodness.. YUM! The absolute best strawberry shortcake I had in my life was at a fundraiser and the guys were out picking the berries and hauling them back, the shortcakes were sweet biscuits fresh out of the oven and the whipped cream was being made all the while.. fresh and yummy. Thanks for sharing.
((hugs)), Teresa :-)
Hi Koralee!
I had strawberry shortcake on Mother's Day too!
My brother in law made it and it was amazing. He used real cream and butter in his recipe for the shortcakes. They tasted more like "fluffy shortbread" ~ outrageously good!
I could have just sat there and eaten the shortcakes!
"So... THAT'S what shortcakes taste like when you make them with real butter and cream!!!"
I know that you must have felt like "Queen for a Day" on Mother's Day ~ but truly, I'm sure you are loved dearly every day!
Happy new week!
xoxo ♥ Maria
That tower of love looks pretty amazing!
yummy !
I like them in every possible way! They are my favorite fruits. As a child I used to collect the paper wrappings around the tea bags, for their lovely scent.
Have a joyous mid-week my sweet sweet friend xoxoxo
Ah yes very yummy!
What a sweet gift from your daughters on mother's day!

My husband brought in a flat of fresh picked berries on Friday. I made shortcake immediately! Last night I had mine with Greek Yogurt and granola...breakfast for dessert...yum!
