I'm actually on the hunt for a charming, vintage teapot...and your's is adorable!

I will always love vintage buttons-in any color because they remind me of my mom's sewing room with me as a young girl sitting on the floor, sifting through jars and jars of her mismatched buttons.

Hello sweet Koralee, Your blues are so cheerful sweetie! I love the pretty cushions, sweet buttons, and lovely enamel teapot! I am so glad they are making you happy dearest! Indeed, it is always fun to share some happy! Oh, pink is making me happy and the thought of adding more of it to my cottage, and most importantly, being alive to enjoy it! It has been just over 6 months since my second open-heart surgery! Yay! Much love to you sweet friend! Have a beautiful week! Paula xoxo

Hi Koralee!
Your pretty blue pillows are an inspiration for me to keep working on my sewing room. I'm replacing my "kitchen style" sewing area {3 vanity height base cabinets and a countertop} with a 100 yr old+ cottage style dresser and night stand both painted in creamy white.
Chris is refurbishing my old sewing machine cabinet which will also receive a nice painting in the same creamy white color.
I can't wait to have a pretty sewing area.

What a great tea kettle, Koralee! I just love finding treasures like that! That color must have made your heart sing!
Do you have lots of "end of year" tasks? I have individual testing for some of my reading students and some professional projects to complete. There are also several parties at school... wedding and baby showers and retirement. It's the "grand finale!"
and then...
we rest ♥
Wishing you a lovely Wednesday, Koralee!
xoxo

Dear Koralee
It was such a treat to have you come visit and sit on the porch.
My white iceberg roses have a slight scent, but beautiful. However, my pink english roses have a raspberry and almond scent.. It is just heavenly!
Hope to see you at the Paris party on Friday.
Bisous!

KOrALEE!!!!!!! Ahhhh....I just came home from a "clerical" day in my room; I go back tomorrow for just a couple of hours to finalize things...but oh dearest, YESTERDAY, the last day of school was heart-rendering. The hugs, the tears, the looks of sadness on some of the faces of kids that were the toughest! Why is it....I still do not understand it, but why is it that the toughest ones are always the ones to come back years later, or to cry the most when it is all over? It was a stunning and magical afternoon. One child who made HUGE progress in behavior shocked me with not one but TWO hugs and thanks-yous....Thank you GOD for this brilliant time of my life that I was a teacher.

I TOO HAVE TO NOW WORK ON MY PARIS POST TOOOOOOO! HAVE A BLAST my beauty and see you in Paris!!! Anita

Butterflies and Butterfly Collections are making me Happy these days. I've always Adored Butterfies in Nature and recently 'scored' an amazing Antique Victorian Butterfly Collection that is over 100 years old... nice to see that Butterflies haven't changed very much, if at all, since then... their Beauty has endured throughout the ages...
