jam day......

*

~our jam day~

2 kinds were made

the regular raspberry freezer jam
which I can never make enough of
and
strawberry/apple/vanilla
using a whole vanilla bean.....the yummiest jam ever
recipe found in my daughter's Frankie magazine
and made by her while I made the raspberry.....
if you are a jam maker and want the recipe
just let me know
the vanilla is amazing in it
{my daughter snapped this photo of me
while I was cleaning up the dishes from our jam making
I debated whether to add it or not..........I am very camera shy.........
this photo makes me want to do something with my hairstyle
I have been a ponytail girl for years...........hmmmmmmm
off to have some jam on toast and ponder over this idea}

Happy day to you all

Love jam! But I am looking for recipes without sugar or sweetners.

Do you have any?

Thank you!

Koralee Dear,
I love this post. Wherever did you get those darling labels? those inspire me to make something like that to see- the labels that is. :) You are gorgeous, by the way, and I love seeing you in a photo. More of those please.

The jam looks and sounds delicious...I love the addition of vanilla to things! Your labels are so cute too. You look very pretty, Koralee...I thought so when I first saw your picture in Where Women Cook! I used to have long hair in a french plait, then I had it bobbed, and then I had it cut short and choppy! It takes time to graduate from being a pony tail girl!
Have a wonderful day!

Koralee,

You are just as beautiful and sweet as every image on your blog!
I'm glad to know there's another ponytail girl out there like me!
I've been contemplating cutting my hair for over a year now, but I just can't imagine not being able to have an easy, comfortable hairdo (ponytail).

I've got three gallons of fresh- picked blueberries in the freezer that I hope to use for Blueberry jam, and I've also got an itch to make some tomato jam...from my garden tomatoes.

Next year I hope to pick some wild plums and make plum jam (which will always remind me of my dear, sweet grandma).

I love that you and your daughter do domestic things together. She will be so appreciative to have learned homemaking skills from you when she's on her own one day.
