What a whopper of an onion, have never seen one that big before. Looks like the perfect weekend with all the fresh produce and all the delicious food. Enjoy the weekend
KORALEE! I WAS BLOWN AWAY BY THE SIZE OF THAT ONION!!!!!!!!!
I love, just LOVE your idea of the weekend. WE TOO love settling in with a good meal and now that the weather is cooler, it is so fun to also have a hot beverage at hand! Don't you just love making pesto? I make it all the time for pasta or....my famous stuffed burgers! I stuff a burger with GOAT CHEESE and then top it with freshly made pesto. AND if you like cilantro (we Hispanics love it), you can make your pesto with that.
Mmmmmm! Your foodie posts always make my mouth water! One of the days, I'm going to turn up on your doorstep at just-about dinner time..... ;-) Carly x
Your pictures are soo delicious and so delightful...and that is such an amazingly big onion!! I do love the colours in this post too :) Have a happy new week,Koralee! Helen x
A very special weekend I must say. I picked tomatoes from our garden and made a delicious cold soup, just wonderful. I can't wait until out plum tree produces plums like those. They are my favorite! Everything your made looked wonderful, delicious!
Glad to hear you had a sweet and joyful weekend!! Looks like fun! And they are the best :) I received my very pretty note cards Saturday morning....oh they are the sweetest!!Thank you so much!! Happy Monday sweet friend, xo Holly
Oh my goodness, this all looks sooooo delicious! Maybe one of these days, I will take it upon myself to actually make things from scratch, instead of just buying it all! It would be nice to teach my girls a thing or two as well!
(I wondered why I keep missing your posts, and for some reason your blog is "hidden" from my list. I can't like that one little bit! Now I need to get helping figuring out how to un-hide it! Boo.)
Looks like your home on the weekend is one yummy place to be! Intrigued by the plum platz. Looks delish. Is it a German dish? My uncle used to make kuchen a lot. Looks sort of similar.
I love this collage so; that onion is just mighty HUGE! I bet the onion rings were just juicy and unforgettable!
My dear, NO CREATIVE CONNECTION THIS YEAR??? Budget cuts???? I hope not. This cannot be! I sure would have loved to see you again. NOW, school is in full-swing for you! I should be getting into the data base system for subbing by the end of this month. I did however, get a phone call from a former colleague over at the immersion school asking me to sub for her this Friday, but I told her to wait to call on me when I get into the system since that is how I get paid!!!!
Go in and SPARKLE TODAY; those kids are so blessed to have Miss. T. teach them!!! LOVE TO YOU dear and wonderful friend, Anita
Ooo! I want to come to your house on the weekends! Beautiful photos and food inspiration!
And thank you for your sweet comment on Oliver's blog. I didn't realize that I was signed into his blog when I commented on yours, but glad you stopped by!
That onion made me laugh! It is HUGE!!! All that freshness is making me hungry! How cool to even pick the plums! Never have done that before! I can't keep plums in the house...I mean I buy them but they never stay long...the boys eat so many they get sick :) (I am pretty sure you didn't really want to know that but now it's out there ;) Hope this week goes quickly so you can soon be enjoying another fall weekend :)
What joy to find your message today, sweet Koralee! Thank you! :) I hope school is going well for you! We are in full swing... What gorgeous photos, as always.. Everything sounds and looks so delicious! Have a beautiful week, dear friend! Love and blessings, - Irina
