~ history repeating itself ~

remember paint by numbers?
I grew up
spending countless hours filling in the
numbered spaces with paint
until
every last white space was filled
and a painted picture magically
appeared
i wish i still had all of mine

well my daughter discovered
the magic
and has been painting
up a storm

this time i will keep every last one
of her masterpieces

{she was so focused on her painting that she didn't even know i snapped this photo}

Koralee, I'm right there with you! I too spent many hours with *paint by number*. I know it's made a come back but I haven't looked too closely at it yet. I will have to do that though. Boy, wouldn't it be great to have all of our creations from our childhoods?!

WOW, your daughter is an amazing artist, really..she did all of that herself? I am always in awe of those that can draw, my brother stole all of those abilities from me...! :) hope you had a great weekend and cherish these paintings forever!

She's really good!!! Even with paint-by-numbers, my pictures don't always look right...I think some people have the artist gene and some people don't.
Beautiful snapshot of her!

I used to love paint by numbers - although I was never very good at it. Your pictures turned out really well.
