pass by so fast
But i just could not let this one fly away
without sharing
My sweet Molly had a birthday
a few weeks ago
All she wanted for her gift
was......
{no not the peach cobbler above}
not of a flower
star
or butterfly
but a bible verse reference
{she has wanted this for at least 2 years}
So being such the wonderful mom that I am
off we went
{my secret desire is to get one too}
She held my had the whole time
while
We chatted up a storm with the lovely tattoo artist
{they say the foot is the most sensitive area for a tattoo}
she was so brave
she was so relieved
{when it was over}
she was so ecstatic
she is so in love with this tattoo
{wouldn't if be funny if she married a Matthew}
that now
she wants another one
{not going to happen for awhile}
my list of pros is growing
1.....the tattoo artist is very very sweet and kind and now I know her
2.....the tattoo place is so clean {it's a mom thing} and decorated so pretty
3.......the artist told me to come in anytime and that if her mom could do it I could too
4........Molly promised to hold my hand
5......I found this amazing tattoo of a beautiful kite {see above image from once wed}
6.....just look at the colour! It's calling my name...robin egg blue!
7.......Molly told me it only really hurt once or twice
8.....plus it is so unlike me and I would love to "shock the pants off " of everyone who knows me!
Soooooooooo
What do you think?

I LOVE Molly's tattoo! If you want one, I say go for it! Make sure you take pics and share with us. Good luck!
I love it but I never trusted the places giving them.I dont know I think if you know the person sure do it.But if you dont I would say dont do it.needles can be very dirty im sure you already know that.Especially if its a place that has not so good people frequenting it.I would get a little one though, some woman have these massive ones on their arms looks so disgusting.lol
Koralee, yes that would shock the pants off of a few people that know you, I think!!! It's kind of a little secret desire of mine, too... but I doubt I will ever get one. But you better show pics if you go for it!!
I love your daughters tattoo and I say go for it! I've wanted to do it for the longest time myself, just a little something and nothing crazy.
I just think it's another form of self expression. I love the kite and like you said the color is so you!
I think I would do something on the back of my neck, like "Made in Heaven" HA!
Big Hugs,
Karyn
that is such a nice tattoo! you should follow your heart & get one, too!!

Congrat's on the lovely awards too.
xoxo
You should do whatever your heart desires!
I got a small sunflower tattoo on the top of my foot on my 18th birthday and I've never regretted it! For me it was a form of self expression, being the creative girl that I am!
Would you share what the verse your daughter chose says?
Hi Koralee,what a wonderful, birthday present for Molly to choose,my first bon is called Matthew. I chose his names years before he was born!So funny you are having the same dilemma, I myself are still having, I am the only one of my friends to still not have had a tattoo. I read your list of prose amd they are very compelling, I love your choice, the kite tattoo, it is SO perfect for you and so adorable.I say if it feels right, go ahead and do it. Thank-you so much for your generous award,it might not be on my site for a little while,as the lovely man who manages my blog(the tec stuff is away for a week.All your lovely comments about me, have given me alot to smile about!!Now Im off to bake my son the best birthday cake ever, he is 13 today,having a proud mum moment!!!S xox
You sound like a fabulous mum! Not sure if the pain would scare me away though xx
Happy Birthday to Molly, and cute tattoo, noticed it is your fav blue, and congrats on your awards, you deserve them so very much. Darling, I just stopped by to let you know that I have returned and that I had a great time. I missed you too much to stay away longer!! Have a beautiful Monday.
Duchess xx

Well...I say go for it. I actually have a few tatooes...and don't regret any of them...plus, that kite is so darn cute! Keep us posted :o)
I say GO FOR IT! life is way too short not to..and if you have wanted one for a really long time, then it is time. Congrats on your award...but you deserve all of them!! I always love your eye candy! :)
You managed to find the cutest blue kite image for a tatoo! And say go for it. Applauding your awards.. you so deserve them. Now as I clean I need to think about a secret desire...you've stumped me... I'll report when I think of it! :)
LuLu
Your daughter's tatoo is so cute! Especially with those flats!
Congrats on the awards!
...scandelous!!!!...seriously...
your Molly has the most beautiful Mother and hip to boot!
....love the kite!...Colleen
Congratulations on both your awards!! So very deserved.
Oooh, tattoos are so tempting. Your daughter's turned out beautifully. I say make yourself wait at least six months before going through with it. That way you know you really want it.
Congratulations on your awards! Your daughter sounds like a wonderful girl with that choice of tattoo! Maybe it is generational, but I cannot go there. No tattoos for me. My husband tried to persuade me to get one for our anniversary - just a small rose. But no go.
But maybe a kite for you?
Go with your heart! Molly's tattoo is lovely, congratulations on your awards x
Happy Birthday Wishes to your sweet Molly!
What an awesome tattoo to choose! That is simply so beautiful!
I say go for it, Mom!
Well I love the kite. Wouldn't mind it for myself as it goes.
Tattoos are not my thing, but what is my thing is doing what you've always wanted to do. I think if you want to - you should! And the foot is a great place to do it, I should think!
I totally love your blog! I love the beautiful colors in your photos and the varying type sizes! Very cool! :)
what a supportive mother you are! way to go taking your daughter in after having given it enough thought. if you want to get one too i say go for it! i've always toyed with the idea, but haven't had the guts.
Hi Koralee!
Thanks for stopping by and commenting, so I could find YOU!
I added your link to my blogroll, hope it is OK.
Your blog looks so fresh, can't wait to catch up with all your posts!
Monica and Kim (the furry girl!)
Hi Koralee,
I've just tagged you for an award on my blog x
I have one on my foot, and partly just for the reasons you described! It isn't something I would have been expected to do. People are surprised when they see it all of the time (I am a librarian!)
But it makes me smile and I think it's fun. Think it over, and the shop sounds lovely. If you can't think of a time you would be uncomfortable with it then I say it's just great! (I do cover it around my grandmother by wearing shoes that help so she doesn't notice just to keep the peace!)
thank you for stopping by and your sweet words.I don't have a tattoo but I saw one a couple of years ago on The Sartorialist and was tempted- it was on her shoulder to the middle of her bicep..it was gorgeous but I think I move things around too much to ever have anything be too permanent!
I love this story and how you were there with Molly the entire time. When I graduated from high school, I really wanted a tatoo, and my dad went with me and we both got one! A perfect and unique father/daughter experience...he continues to get them, and I stopped at my one!
beatefull hermoso and creative,besitos bettina
