Oh Koralee, how I wish I had a lilac in my garden here. I had one at another house years ago. How I loved it. I saw two starting to bloom on my way to work last Wednesday! Spring has sprung! Rebecca♥
Lilac = Scent. I have a purple lilac too in my garden and I keep my eye on it waiting for the buds to pop. Love your second picture could be right out of a lovely magazine. Cheerful post today, I sometimes wonder how I started my days before I met you, these days I cannot without your thoughtful & beautiful posts. Sending a huge hug your way. Have a great new week, sweet Koralee. xoxo
Oh, Koralee... Giddy smell of Lilacs makes me so so so airy, feminine and happy:) Pity we don't have so much Lilacs here, in Portugal... I've go to visit you:))
Hello Koralee, There is nothing like the lovely smell of fresh lilacs, they always remind my of my grandmother Carmella, she had rows of them at her home which bordered the prettiest church...I can still hear the church bells ringing and smell the lilacs during the spring months. Lovely post and gentle reminders for us all to savor. xoxo Bunny
I think we all need a reminder to stop and take a deep breath...thank you for that!! Oh my gosh...now all I can smell is the beautiful fragrance of those lilacs...WOW!! I hope you enjoyed your weekend! xOxO Nerina
Hi Koralee! I'm looking forward to my lilacs! They are so amazingly fragrant, aren't they!
Breathing, deeply... so important for relaxation and clear thinking.
I tell my students to hunch over {like they do sometimes} and try to take a deep breath... It's difficult. Then, I tell them to sit up straight and try breathing deeply again. They can fill up their lungs! ... so much better for thinking and energizing the body and mind!
I LOVE your blue chair... What a GREAT chair! It is so nostalgic for me to see one like that!
I can smell those babies from here! Oh i do love lilacs! You are getting me excited for them to start blooming here! HURRY UP LILACS! There...I am sure that did it!
You are so sweet! I have a lilac bush about the same size:) It is in full bloom and the fragrance takes me back to my childhood ( a very long time ago..LOL!! Oh! do learn to knit! I started at age 10 and haven't stopped since...beware though it is addicting!! I am working on more socks...ok so at least 5 projects going right now:) Enjoy your week and thanks for the visit!!
HI KORALEE, LILACS ARE THE BEST, PRETTY AND BEAUTIFUL SCENT. WE HAD LILAC BUSHES WHEN I WAS A KID, THEY SMELLED SOOOO GOOD. WE HAVE A FEW BUSHES IN OUR BACKYARD, I JUST LOVE THEM. RIZZI
I am relaxing and breathing better now that I've popped in to visit you! There's somthing so heartwarmingly beautiful about going outside and picking your own bouquet!

And btw...your photo/quote of the day is so true....I find it so completely draining to visit or come in contact with negative people....it's like they suck the very marrow of happiness right from my soul!....
You just live in a world of magical sweetness! I love it! I can't wait for our lilacs here. I wait all year for this one magical week, and then fill my house to the brim with bouquets. Enjoy yours! I can smell their heavenly scent from here! Kate
