Pure Summer JOY
our weather is finally warming up
so I am celebrating with
ice cream
Age does not diminish the extreme disappointment
of having a scoop of ice cream
fall from the cone
jim fiebig
my favourite is root beer ice cream
what is yours?

My favorite will always be a vanilla bean, but there is a constant change for second place. Today, it is lemon verbena.
Enjoy the warm weather ~
I am thinking I need to run out and get some ice cream.
My favorite...pink lemonade.
Baskin Robbins Jamocha Almond Fudge and Chocolate Chip! Yummmm! Adore your blog!
Hi Koralee,
Isn't that one of the pure joys of summer, eating an ice-cream. My favourite is boysenberry or mint and chocolate chip. So true with the saying of ice cream falling from the cone.
Happy week
Hugs
Carolyn

Hi Koralee,
I love mint chocolate chip ice cream. Your posts are alway great. Have a fun week and congrats on your new home!
Oh my, that looks so delicious! The days are so hot here at the moment, the bears and I did a big shop for ice pops, ice cream and cones yesterday. We are sure going to enjoy them today! he he!
Root beer is not something we have over here, but My sister-in-law adores it. We buy her a big stash everytime we visit an american food store near us and take it down to her when we visit. Caramel has to be my favourite flavour. ooooooohhhhhhh yes, i can just taste it now if I close my eyes! Heaven!!!!!
Have a beautiful day lovely!

Suddenly the house is filled with friends and brothers and sister and little Eva of course .
All staying for dinner of course .
My laptop was far away but you are always in my mind ......
Strawberry ice cream even looks prettier on your website!
I love mint gelato :) sigh
Teeeeheee! Oh how true, HOW TRUE is that...if I even lose ONE CRUMP on the dirty floor, it disappoints me!!!
Oh dearest, that is a lovely picture. Pure joy, pink yumminess and ever so sweet KORALEE!!!

Today is a day for icecream - yay, sunshine after so much rain! Love your sweet, gorgeous photo Koralee!
sound boring, but I love dairy queen's plain vanilla in a waffle cone.
root beer ice cream? never seen it but sounds amazing (ginger beer and lime = favourite soft drink)
My favourite ice cream would be french cassis (blackcurrent?), even better when eated in france!
Cleggys favourite is lavender - rare but delicious!
hope your new home is going well - thanks so much for commenting for Geordie...fee ♥
Ice cream with fruits and toppings is winning combination- and always works!
This summer I'm into orange, pineapple and vanilla ice cream with raspberry or caramel topping over it! Divine!
YOUR bowl is filled with yummy joy!
YUMMY! Almost too beautiful to eat!

The mnute it warms up here we are all ice cream crazed too! Actually this year we are enjoying Carmel Apple popsicles too... Green apple popsicles filled with ooey gooey carmel... the kids love 'em :)
We have a local ice cream factory (Kawartha Dairy) and I think pretty much ANYTHING they make has to be a favourite! They make the best French vanilla and their Moose Tracks is to die for! Imagine....a waffle cone filled with TWO scoops each of 2 different flavours of your choice. A hot day....ice cream dripping down the outside of your cone. A perfect thing!
I love the quote!!! It's so true!!! We eat so much ice cream in the summer that our local ice cream store gives us some freebies every so often. Could it be because we pay half her rent for the month?!!? I wonder . . . : )

I don't know if I could pick just one to be my favorite, but I do enjoy the special flavors that arrive when season's change, such as pumpkin ice cream, salted caramel, peppermint and blackberry =) Have a lovely week Koralee! Xoxoxo
Mint Chocolate Chip!
Perfect, just what the doc ordered... Ok, maybe not...but I'll be having a bowl anyways. Hope you are getting all settled in. Are you going to give us a peek soon?
Kate xoxoxo

Hi Koralee,
We are having some warm summer days in Holland as well, so an ice cream is welcome! My favourite is 'lemon', 'orange' or 'after eight'!
Happy day :-)!
Lieve groet, Madelief xox
I have honestly never had root beer ice cream, though I've had a root beer float and loooove it:>) I have to say my favorite would have to be Moose Tracks, but I even love vanilla so you might say I'm not real particular when it comes to ice cream!
I didn't know there was such a thing as rootbeer ice cream. I don't normally do ice cream unless it is vanilla on apple pie, or a berry crumble, or brownies! :) But if I have to choose, I'd say coffee ice cream and mint chocolate chip. Yum! Sending sweet wishes and smiles your way :) Tammy
Just lovely xo
I reaaaaaaaaaaaly love `zupa inglese´ and ´pannacotta´
Summer is icecream every day!!!
My favo(u)rite :) ice cream is Ben & Jerry's New York Super Fudge Chunk, but I love vanilla too! Vanilla's especially yummers with peanut M&M's buried in it! As much as I love ice cream, though, I never felt as bad about it toppling out of my cone as I did when one day my Dunkin' Donuts coffee toppled out of my hand and spilled in the parking lot as I arrived at school! (I hadn't even had one sip!) It did make me think of a little kiddo with an ice cream cone! You can imagine my delight when the mom of one of my students brought me another doubleD coffee.
Oh, yes, Koralee...HAPPY DANCE!
Blessings!
..and. I just became your Newest follower to :)
Mmm...my favorite is homemade vanilla! I've had more frozen yogurt this summer than ever before, we are very warm here!
oh my goodness that quote gave me a big fat smile! it is soooooo true! i have cried tears over that dropped scoop before! :)
my favorite is mint chocolate chip, but only if it is from baskin robbins. otherwise, i like to get one scoop of chocolate and one scoop of strawberry ... sort of like a chocolate covered strawberry, which is one of my favorite treats!
I adore your blog. My favourite is vanilla bean. I will visit again again and again for sure as I hope you will me.
My favourite flavour is strawberry. There is a small family run homemade ice cream shop not far from here and we make a special trip to go and get icecream and then there's nothing but silence while we eat it! Happy Wednesday lovely lady. Em x
Your photo best shows my favorite. It looks like strawberry and that is always my first choice at the ice cream shop.
your house must be such a fun place to live!
Lavender is my favorite... also love rose. I love floral flavors! Did you have the opportunity to pop into Mashti Malone's while you were in LA? If not... stay tuned for a future post and the next time you venture down the coast you may want to try the exotic flavors!! Lovely blog btw!
