Oh Koralee,
You have a way of making one small object the CENTER of attention like no other...you CROWN a beautiful object, a friend, a thought with such sweetness and glory. I LOVE YARN and even just having little balls neatly set in a pretty bowl is wonderful!
DID YOU GET YOUR HYDRANGEAS????? Keep that back rested dearest; even with my gardening yesterday, I feel great this morning...my hip is responding to these exercises I am doing!
HAPPY DAY! Anita
Koralee, I know! I look at yarn and I think it is just so pretty and cozy. I would love to learn to knit! There is no way I could teach myself though! Kudo's to your daughter!
Have a pretty day!

Oh my goodness....soft, nubby, wooly yarn is one of my weaknesses, too...I have far too much of it! I love making afghans, scarves...and I just made a hobo bag while at my Mom's this summer...very addicting!
Looking forward to seeing your newest creations, dear Koralee!
Hoping your weekend is delightful in every way, my friend...
Julie

When I see fuzzy balls of yarn I immediately think of cold weather outside and being inside enjoying the warmth of the fireplace and working on a warm and fuzzy project.
xo,
Danielle
They do just warm the "cockles of my heart." I have wondered for a long time where that phrase came from. Do you know, Koralee?
Warm snowballs says it well!
Big hugs,
Suz
Such soft, pretty colors! I don't knit but want to make pompoms! Have a fun weekend!
HIP-HIP-HOORAY... these's a true blessing today.
I have been wishing for soooooo long that you would wander into a yarn shop. I can't wait to see what those busy hands are up to there. Please, please, do have a show and tell.
It's so good to hear that your daughter is learning to knit; it's such a beautiful and practical artform. I am sure that she will make many cheerful creations!

Hi Koralee!
So glad to stop by and visit ~ it's been a while {I was at my father's ~ with an extended stay there to replace his ole' fridge}
Your little fuzzy wuzzy woollies are soooo cute!
I've started crocheting again...trying to make little granny squares for a Christmas project.
How fun for Sydney to pick up knitting! I'll bet some fun scarves are in her future :o)

I love yarn -- even just looking at it makes me happy :)
Hi Koralee, lovely post. Teresa
My fingers have been itching to knit lately. It seems that once August rolls in, I find myself looking at cardigan patterns and missing the slow repetition of moving knitting needles. I'll have to go to the yarn shop tomorrow, Koralee ~ you've inspired me! :)
I have been teaching myself to knit also! I find it much more difficult than crocheting, but that just may be because my mother taught me to crochet at a very young age so I am more comfortable with it. That photo makes me want to start a new project! Great post as always!
Oh that reminds me of my first flat .
Everywhere baskets with all kinds of fabrics and wools and stuf ....
Now most of my materials live in boxes ....
You are so right to give them a place where they can be seen ....that makes yoy think what you could make ....
I LOVE TO KNIT and just received a magazine with only baby-things to knit all very simple .
Cannot wait to make something for little Eva .
She is so adorable Koralee. She has the sweetest smiles and makes little sounds that
surpasses all you've ever heard .....
Have a wonderful weekend
I would LOVE to learn how to knit. I really wish I knew how to make stuff. haha
those spools are almost too pretty to unwind to actually knit with!! ;)
i've been thinking lately i should learn to knit because i love scarves and blankets so much AND to keep my hands busy so i don't snack at night!!!!! :) :) :)
happy weekend, koralee :)
Pretty colours!
Oh dearest, I SO know how you feel...but we have EACH OTHER....THOUSANDS OF artists and dreamers and human hearts that need each other to REMEMBER that we are NOT ALONE. That makes the journey up the mountain much more attainable...not easier, but within reach...eventually. YOU ARE SUPER! Are you gonna be out in that garden today? In the new home, sprucing it up?
WHATEVER YOU DO, do it knowing that we love you! Anita
Can't wait to see what little bits of joy you have been creating. Thanks for the reminder to look.
An Unbelievably pretty blog with fabulous posts!!!
...so glad I,ve found you today! ;)

so pretty. Looking forward to seeing what you do with them...
I'm hopelessly and predicatably addicted to crochet - and it's fairly time consuming. Need to wean off soon....and get a life back.
love as always
