{a cherry on top}

some
blissful
thoughts
that are rolling around
in my head

great joy

"smarties" now come in new colours
{a candy treat like m&ms...see image}
*
my lilac bush is blooming
*
raspberry jam on sourdough toast
*
a shoulder rub
*
a friend who believes in me
*
a new magazine waiting to be read
*
watching my students play "Red Rover"

Many of these things make me happy as well - the shoulder rub is near the top! I haven't thought of Red Rover is sooo long. Who didn't love that game? I remember a few times a year our small school would bring EVERYONE outside to play. The lines were so long, such fun memories...another thing to be happy about! Very glad your daughter is laughing again.

So happy to hear that the laughter has returned to your sweet deaughter's life!
We still have lots of candy left from Easter, but when it's gone I'm sure I'll be on the look-out for those pink candies in your pic! They look like Skittles though, not Smarties.
I'm looking forward to seeing my lilacs in bloom!
Blessings!

So happy to hear your daughter is feeling better, that old saying that a mother is only as happy as her sadest child is often true. Enjoy all the good moments life has to offer. Thanks for the joy today!

Precious post! And I have heard tell of these things called "Smarties"...that we, south of the border, know little of...mere rumors and rumblings. We have our own "Smarties"...sour, sweet-tarty things that come in a roll...and oddly enough...are made in Canada. ;} And I must say that saucer is bliss!

I'm glad your daughter is feeling better. Migraines sometimes come and go for a few days, and then you don't have one for awhile. I hope she gets something to help. I know I'm very thankful for the stuff I take for mine. If you ever have any questions about them and I can help in any way, feel free to email me.
The smarties look yummy, I didn't know about the new colors :-)
Blessings,
Marcia
