{blackberry shades}

the girls made jam the other day

i think it turned out
stunningly beautiful
plus it tastes as good as it looks
i now have these beautiful rich colours stuck in my head
so
i am on a mission to find a sweater...skirt or blouse in a one of these
 wonderful blackberry jam shades
but until i do i think i will go paint my nails some
pretty autumn colour from here

a thought to fill your week.....

The human race has only one really effective weapon
and that's laughter.
The moment it arises, all our hardnesses yield
all our irritations and resentments slip away
and the sunny spirit takes their place.

May a sunny spirit fill your week

The color of that jam is yummy! One of my fave colors to wear in the fall...as a sweater. I also have a purse about that color from last winter.
Laughter is medicine for the soul.
Blessings and hugs~

My Bob is NOT going to work for the first Tuesday after labour day in our married life! We are going to enjoy this month of sunny days and sweet evenings....!
Beautiful jam and wonderful colour. Try Cabbages & Roses for a sweater...or come to the Fieldstone Market (sept 24th) and see what awaits you there!

A fall sweater in that berry color would be amazing. Now I really must go look soon. I was hoping to wait awhile, but I hear the store calling my name. Love, love berry jam! That quote is pretty amazing too, right on Mark Twain.

Good morning sweet Koralee,

It is 3:30am here and I am starting my morning routine here...I am so tired, but once I get my water and food and shower, I will be ready to go! I AM GLAD TO HEAR THAT YOU WERE BACK TOO and had a good day too! YES, we have MUCH TO DO, but for now, I am looking at ONE DAY AT A TIME. Today, more PRACTICING on how to walk the hallways will be done, and how to LISTEN while someone else is reading aloud!!!

PEACE AND HAPPINESS TO YOU TODAY sweet friend! Anita

the other day I watched Oprah .....
She had a guest Toni Morrison who told something what realy hit me .......
about what she learned from her children ...
How important it is how you get on with children . When her children entered the room when they were little she was always looking ....are your clothes right , is your hear good , did they eat well and so on .One day her son showed her a drawing he made and she looked and said "oh nice " and went on ...
He teared the drawing to pieces and she asked why ? "You said nice without realy looking "he said .....
That was the beginning of changing .
Now a days HER EYES ARE LIGHT BECAUSE HER HEART LIGHTS UP seeing them .
THAT is what children see and what makes them grow.
You and your girls and the home-made jammmmmmm
Happy days sweet friend

Ohhhh...here I am now at 6:00pm!!! teeeheeee...what a day! FUN, and I had to put a boy in his place. But now he seems more respectful since he knows that if he continues his shenanigans, NO SECOND RECESS!!!! And I don't think he wants to risk testing me...:)

OH AND HOW ARE YOU and your reading program????

Today I taught them what they need to do when someone is READING ALOUD TO THEM. We practiced and did some predictions and inferences...I love to teach, don't you dearest?

OK...here we go again Koralee...we can do this.....I AM CHEERING FOR YOU!!! Anita
