my daughter is a dancer

dancing has taught her

discipline

and

work ethic

skills which carry over to

her everyday

life

this got me thinking
that so many
of the qualities she possesses
as a successful dancer
would be valuable
for us
in our
everyday lives




qualities/rules of a successful dancer
~ honest, reliable, faithful
~don't be afraid to take risks
~establish goals and work systematically toward achieving them
~free rides don't exist
~have confidence in yourself
~invite constructive criticism
~keep from making excuses
~listen, learn and always work hard
~never, ever give up on your dreams
~quality not quantity
~respect others
~reach for the stars
{I think I need to apply some of these to my life}

at the shine dance festival....

{where my daughter syd picked up 7 golds and 2 silvers}
