feeling a tad bit blue today

here are some blue bits that filled my home today

1. my pillow cover from here

{love this girl....I think every room in my home has something made by Jane}

2. my thrift store finds for TODAY.....3 pieces of turquoise  pryrex all in one place

all in one day......at  $1 to $2 a piece 

I was doing my happy dance while I was cleaning them up

3. my everyday plates......well really all my plates are everyday plates

4. My balls of yarn waiting for me to learn how to knit......

poor things they may have to wait for awhile

I did pick them up today and thought about pom poms

5. My spirits {no photo but  feeling a little blue}

my youngest daughter went off to Mexico on a 12 day Missions trip

I miss her already......spent a lot of time in her room sprucing it up a bit

for when she returns

so there you have it..... a few blue bits

by bits of information....

the bus story in point form ....

-a women on the bus

watching a man with his 3 children

-the children were misbehaving

... disturbing the entire bus

-the passengers where getting more and more upset by the minute

-how could this Father

just sit there

ignoring the

horrible behaviour of his children?

-the lady could not take it any longer

-she got up and went over to the man

telling him how horrified she was

with the behaviour of his children...couldn't he

see the whole bus was annoyed...why didn't he do something?

-the man looked up and replied,

"my wife just passed away yesterday"

{a perfect example of not seeing the whole picture}

We have a new addition to the family....

her name is "Maria"

I am soooooo in love with her..
